Privacy Policy
Effective October 24, 2026
Digital Pikas LLC operates digitalpikas.com. This policy describes what the site collects, what it does not, and who else is involved when you use it.
Questions, or a request about your own data: hello@carloscalle.com
The short version
This site collects one thing from you: an email address, and only if you type it into a form and submit it.
It runs no analytics. It sets no cookies. It loads no tracking pixels, no tag manager, no advertising tools and no third-party fonts. On a normal visit, your browser contacts digitalpikas.com and nothing else.
That changes in one place, and it is described below under Google Calendar.
What you give the site directly
There are three email forms: one in the page body and one in the Forecasters pricing card, both on the homepage, and one in the footer, which appears on every page except the forecasters page.
Each form has a single field, your work email address. When you submit one, two pieces of information are sent:
| Sent | What it is |
|---|---|
| Your email address | What you typed |
| A source label | Which form you used |
That is the entire payload. No name, no company, no phone number, no IP address attached by the form, and no hidden profiling fields.
The source label exists for one reason: to tell apart someone who asked for the forecasters from someone who subscribed to the newsletter, and to send them the right thing.
Where that email goes
Email addresses are held in Kit (formerly ConvertKit), the email service Digital Pikas uses. Kit processes your address on our behalf. Their privacy policy is at kit.com.
Signup is double opt-in. After you submit a form, Kit sends you a confirmation email. If you do not click the link in it, your address is never added to any list and you receive nothing further.
Every email carries an unsubscribe link. Using it ends the relationship immediately and with no questions.
What the site stores in your browser
One item, and it is not about you:
theme, in localStorage. It holds either dark or light, and it is written only when you click the light and dark toggle. It exists to remember which version of the site you prefer. It never leaves your browser and is never sent anywhere.
There are no cookies on digitalpikas.com. The site sets none, and the server sends no Set-Cookie headers. There is no sessionStorage and no IndexedDB.
If you clear your site data, the theme setting goes with it and the site follows your operating system preference instead.
Server logs
digitalpikas.com is hosted by Netlify. Like every web host, Netlify processes each request in order to serve the page, which involves the ordinary information a browser sends: an IP address, a user agent string, and the address of the page requested.
Digital Pikas has not enabled Netlify Analytics, Netlify Forms, serverless functions, edge functions or log drains. None of them are on, and no visitor data is collected, stored or analyzed through them.
Retention of Netlify's own server logs is governed by Netlify, not by anything Digital Pikas controls. Their privacy policy is at netlify.com.
Google Calendar, and what opens with it
Clicking Book a call, Book a Review or Book a Lead Flow Review opens a scheduling window operated by Google LLC, a Google Calendar appointment schedule.
This is worth being specific about. Until that click, your browser has contacted only digitalpikas.com. The scheduling window is Google's own service, and it loads Google's own tools, which include:
- The booking service itself
- reCAPTCHA, which screens out automated bookings
- A Google logging service
- Fonts and images from Google's servers
Opened in a browser not signed in to Google, it set no cookies. reCAPTCHA stores two small items in your browser under google.com. If you are signed in to Google, Google's own cookies for your account may apply inside that window. Paying for a Lead Flow Review brings in Stripe, which has its own cookies.
None of this is operated by Digital Pikas. The tools listed above report to Google, not to Digital Pikas. What does reach Digital Pikas is the booking itself: your name, your email address and any answers you give when you schedule. That is what is needed to hold the meeting, and it lives in Google Calendar, on the calendar the meeting lands on. The $500 for a Lead Flow Review is paid through Stripe: your card details go to Stripe, and Digital Pikas sees the payment, not your full card number. It is disclosed here because it happens inside a window you opened from this site, and you are entitled to know before you click. What you schedule, and anything you type into that window, is governed by Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com. The payment is also governed by Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com.
If you would rather not use it, email hello@carloscalle.com and a time can be arranged directly.
The forecasters
The forecaster link opens a Google Sheets document and makes a copy in your own Google Drive. That is Google's service, under Google's terms, and your copy is yours.
Digital Pikas has no visibility into your copy. The numbers you put into it are not seen, received or stored by anyone here.
Who else receives your information
Four companies, each for one purpose:
| Who | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Kit | Your email address and source label | To hold the list and send the emails you asked for |
| Netlify | The ordinary request data every web host receives | To serve the page |
| Your name, email and any answers you give, and the calendar entry, if you book a meeting | To book and hold the meeting | |
| Stripe | Your payment details, if you book a Lead Flow Review | To take the $500 payment |
Nobody else. Your information is not sold, rented, traded, or shared with advertising networks, data brokers or list buyers. There is no arrangement under which that could happen.
How long it is kept
Your email address stays in Kit until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be removed. There is no fixed expiry, and no archive copy kept after a deletion request.
Your choices
- Stop receiving email: the unsubscribe link in any email, which works immediately
- See what is held about you, or have it deleted: email hello@carloscalle.com. The answer will be a short list, because the list is short
- Use the site without giving anything: every page is readable without submitting a form
Depending on where you live, you may have formal rights over your data under laws such as the GDPR or state privacy laws in the United States. Those requests go to the same address and are handled the same way.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. Nothing here is designed to collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date at the top changes with it. Material changes to how email addresses are used will be sent to the list before they take effect.
